As you know has called a general mobilization of citizens across the country level for the upcoming May 15, 2011. Under the slogan for a real democracy now!. "We're not good in the hands of politicians and bankers." But in some media have mistakenly associated the theme to a simple youth rally, which from the platform of coordination is denied:

Given the recent emergence of diverse news in media associated with the call of the May 15 Platform Real Democracy Now! with student and youth movements issue this statement is intended to clarify the origin and purpose of the call.
Platform Real Democracy Now! is not a student group or an association of young people, but a coalition of civic organizations of all kinds which participants of all ages and types. Among our member institutions are collective and neighborhood associations in different localities, the National Association of Unemployed ADESORG, several regional delegations of ATTAC, the Platform for Affected by the Mortgage or the Platform for Decent Housing. Among the hundreds of signatories of the call May 15 is also youth and student associations and associations of artists, bloggers, advocacy, and numerous individuals. But a collective participation in this call should not overshadow the effort and the participation of other people who go on the streets to protest the lack of accountability in economic management of the country by politicians and large corporations.
We are a plural movement and as such we want this to us.
